 Quality Metrics & Reporting Minimize

Patheon ensures the high quality of its development and manufacturing services through a system of quality data collection, metrics analysis, and report generation. Every aspect of this system is documented and enforced through standard operating procedures.

Metrics and Reporting

The quality management team at each site is responsible for actively identifying issues and trends to support continuous improvement.   This is facilitated through the collection of quality and compliance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The information collected could be from a variety of sources such as customer or regulatory audits, self inspections, local departmental meetings, trending reports, product and data reviews and non-conformance quality systems monitoring programs.

The site quality team is responsible for providing visibility of the quality information through appropriate forums, reports and communication channels. The quality and compliance Key Performance Indicators are reviewed and reported to both the Site Leadership teams and Corporate Quality and Operations management on a scheduled basis. The information provided by the sites is consolidated and evaluated to provide a comprehensive quality and compliance overview to senior management. This overview is intended to proactively identify issues, concerns or any potential or significant risks to the business and if identified, ensure that there are appropriate preventative actions in place.
