Patheon to Host Q3 2007 Financial Results Conference Call and Webcast

TORONTO, Canada (August 22, 2007) – Patheon Inc. (TSX: PTI) today announced that it will host a conference call with financial analysts on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) to discuss its third quarter 2007 financial results. The third quarter financial results news release will be issued at approximately 7:00 a.m. (EDT) on Friday, September 7, 2007.   

Representing Patheon on the call will be:  Riccardo Trecroce, Chief Executive Officer; Nick DiPietro, President and Chief Operating Officer; and John Bell, Chief Financial Officer. The call will begin with a brief presentation, followed by a question-and-answer period with investment analysts.
