  Mr. Wheeler joined Patheon as Chief Executive Officer in December 2007. Mr. Wheeler’s 29-year career includes multinational experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, sales and marketing, R&D and engineering with three global pharmaceutical companies. He joined Patheon from Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, a California-based global specialty pharmaceutical company, where he served most recently as President, North America, R&D and Global Manufacturing. Prior to joining Valeant in 2003, Mr. Wheeler served as President and Chief Executive Officer of DSM Pharmaceuticals Inc., a contract pharmaceutical manufacturer, where he led the organization through a business turnaround, significantly increasing new business, compliance and profitability. Prior to DSM, Mr. Wheeler was Senior Vice-President of Logistics and Strategy for GlaxoSmithKline plc, where he managed the manufacturing rationalization of Glaxo Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham, which included a supply network of over 100 plants in 41 countries. Previous to his manufacturing role, Mr. Wheeler was Vice President of Marketing for Glaxo Wellcome, where he was responsible for antibiotic, antiviral, gastrointestinal and metabolic products, and was instrumental in developing the marketing services infrastructure. Mr. Wheeler joined Glaxo in 1989 after a 12-year career at Exxon Research & Engineering Co. Mr. Wheeler holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a master of business administration degree from California Lutheran University.

  Mr. Bell joined Patheon in September 2006, bringing considerable executive-level experience to his role at Patheon. During the past twenty years, he has held chief financial and operating officer positions with both public and private companies in several industries, including automotive parts, real estate and telecommunications. Mr. Bell is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba.

  Mr. Novak joined Patheon in February 2008, bringing more than 28 years pharmaceutical industry experience, including senior commercial management positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Quintiles and Cytogen. Most recently, Mr. Novak was President of DSM Pharmaceuticals Inc., the contract manufacturing business arm of Netherlands-based Royal DSM, N.V. Mr. Novak is a highly regarded speaker at industry conferences and also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Contract Pharma magazine and the North Carolina Biotechnology Advisory Board. Mr. Novak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Muhlenberg College.

  Mr. Braca’s career includes 29 years with the European operations of Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he held positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Patheon in 1999, Mr. Braca was President – Worldwide Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Worldwide Medicines Group, Bristol-Myers Squibb, with responsibility for 32 manufacturing plants and approximately 10,000 employees. Mr. Braca joined Patheon in 1999 and was appointed Executive Vice-President, European Business Development and President, Patheon Italia S.p.A. in July 2001. He was appointed to President, Patheon Europe in January 2004.   Mr. Braca has an educational background in industrial chemistry and also is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

  Dr. Anik began his career at Syntex where, over a 17-year period, he held positions of increasing responsibility in product development, manufacturing and program management.  In 1995, he joined biotechnology company Neurex as head of Pharmaceutical Development and Operations, and in 1997 became Vice-President of Product Development with a California-based contract pharmaceutical development company.   He joined Patheon in 1999 and is responsible for building Patheon’s PDS business globally.  Dr. Anik received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin and his MBA from Santa Clara University. He has authored more than 50 technical publications and presentations and holds four patents.

  Prior to his appointment to Patheon’s Management Advisory Board in January 2000, Mr. Bennett’s 30-year career in the pharmaceutical industry included 23 years with Hoechst Marion Roussel (now sanofi-aventis), where he served as Senior Vice-President of Operations and Head of Global Drug Product Supply from 1995 until 1999. In that role, he was responsible for the company’s dosage manufacturing network of 77 sites and 12,500 employees. Mr. Bennett joined Patheon in 2002 as Executive Vice-President, Operations. He was appointed President, Patheon North America in January 2004, and President, Patheon U.S.A and President and Chief Operating Officer of MOVA Pharmaceutical Corporation in July 2005. He was appointed President, Patheon U.S.A. in September 2006, and to his current position in February 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Chemistry from Bath University(UK).

  Ms. Le Saux joined Patheon in January of 2008, and brings more than twenty-five years of experience in corporate, commercial and securities law. Prior to joining Patheon she most recently held the position of Vice-President, Corporate and Legal Affairs at Vasogen, Inc. and has also acted as in-house counsel at Sanofi-Aventis in Canada. Ms Le Saux has previously held senior business positions at a number of healthcare companies including Draxis Health, Ellipsis Biotherapeutics, and Zinc Therapeutics. She also practiced law for ten years with the Canadian law firm of McCarthy Tetrault in Toronto where she focused on corporate and commercial law and securities law matters. Ms. Le Saux has a bachelor of laws degree (University of Toronto), an M.B.A. (University of Ottawa) and a bachelor degree  (Laurentian University – Canada).

  Mr. DiPietro is Executive Vice-President, Corporate Development. He joined a predecessor corporation of Patheon as Operations Manager in 1982, becoming President in 1989. He was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in 1996 and to his current position in February 2008. Mr. DiPietro holds an Honours B.Sc. in Biochemistry and an MBA from McMaster University.

  Mr. Wieschkowski joined Patheon as Director, Corporate Human Resources in 1999. He was appointed Senior Director, Corporate Human Resources in 2004, Vice-President, Corporate Human Resources in 2005 and to his current position in 2006.  Mr. Wieschkowski’s background includes extensive human resources experience in the manufacturing and retail sectors, having served in a variety of HR management positions with Paperboard Industries and various subsidiaries of Cascade Inc. from 1989 until 1999, and with subsidiaries of ICI Paints from 1986 until 1989.  Mr. Wieschkowski holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Certified Human Resources Professional.

  Mr. Liberty’s 20-year career includes multinational experience in manufacturing, customer service, distribution and business development with two global pharmaceutical companies.  Prior to joining Patheon in October 2005, he served in a number of senior roles with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, including Executive Director & General Manager of its Westborough Supply Site in Massachusetts, U.S.A.; Director of Manufacturing, Australia from 2000 to 2003; and Director of Manufacturing, Canada from 1997 to 2000.  Prior to AstraZeneca, Mr. Liberty worked at Eli Lilly and Company for five years in increasingly senior manufacturing, quality, customer service and business development positions. He began his career with the Canadian Armed Forces, progressing to the rank of Captain before leaving to pursue his MBA.   Mr. Liberty holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

  Mr. Albors joined Patheon in December 2005 as Site Director, Carolina Operations and was appointed to his current position in April 2007. Prior to joining Patheon, Mr. Albors served as Vice-President and General Manager of the Bristol Myers Squibb facility in Manati, Puerto Rico for five years. Prior to BMS, Mr. Albors held increasingly senior positions at companies such as Warner Lambert (Pfizer), Whitehall-Robbins Laboratories, Pall Biomedical, Roche and Abbott. Mr. Albors holds a B.Sc. degree in chemistry and biology from the University of Puerto Rico

  Mr. Kelley joined Patheon in January 2006, bringing to his role more than 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.  Mr. Kelley joined Patheon from Cardinal Health, where he spent 15 years in progressively senior production and operational roles, most recently serving as Vice President, Operations for Europe and Site Leader for Swindon.  In this position, he was responsible for operations at Cardinal’s site in Swindon, which employs 700 people, and as well as 10 other facilities in the U.K., Germany, France, Italy and Belgium.  Prior to Cardinal, he held manufacturing management roles at Boehringer Ingelheim and at Roussel Laboratories.  He began his career as a Process and Technical Services Engineer at Esso Chemicals Ltd.  Mr. Kelley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and a Master of Business Administration from Henley Management College in Oxfordshire, U.K.

  Ms. Mancuso joined Patheon in 2001 as Production Manager of Patheon’s facility in Monza, Italy, becoming Site Director in June 2002.  She became Director, Italian Operations in January 2005, with responsibility for integrating and managing both the Monza and Ferentino sites.  Prior to joining Patheon, Ms. Mancuso held progressively senior roles in production and manufacturing during her six years at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) in Italy.  Prior to BMS, Antonella served as Qualified Technical Director with Select Pharma.  She began her career in 1991 at Bioprogress in Rome, where her responsibilities included quality control and registration of pharmaceutical products.   Antonella holds a Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from La Sapienza University of Rome.

  Dr. Minchom joined Patheon in 2000 as Director, Formulation Development.  He was appointed Group Director of PDS at Toronto Region Operations in 2001, and to his current position in 2004.  Prior to joining Patheon, Dr. Minchom was Head of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Cerebrus Ltd., a UK-based research and biotechnology company, where he was responsible for pharmaceutical development and clinical supply using contract resources. Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility in formulation development and pharmaceutical project management for Eli Lilly and Company, where he gained experience in the development of formulations for high-profile products. Prior to Eli Lilly, he was employed as a formulation scientist at E.R. Squibb Ltd. and May & Baker Ltd. Dr. Minchom received his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from the Welsh School of Pharmacy, U.K.  He has been a visiting senior lecturer at the pharmacy school of Kings College, London and has presented lectures to students in the pharmacy schools of Leicester, Aberdeen, Aston and Toronto, sharing his 20 years of academic and industry experience.

  Mr. Barras joined Patheon in 2005 as Group Director, PDS Swindon, bringing more than 24 years of experience to his role, and was appointed to his current position in April 2006.  Prior to Patheon, he served for 13 years in a number of senior roles at U.K. specialty company Norgine International Ltd., including Medical Director, Scientific Director, and Vice-President of R&D. His career also includes positions with the Upjohn Company, Controlled Therapeutics and PA Consulting Group.  He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Chemistry from Paisley University and a Master of Science in Biochemical Pharmacology from the University of Hertfordshire.

  Dr. Wilkinson joined Patheon in 2007 as Group Director, PDS Cincinnati, bringing more than 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical development. Prior to joining Patheon, Dr. Wilkinson spent 16 years at Johnson & Johnson where he held senior leadership roles with the Pharmaceutical R&D and Janssen Research Foundation divisions. Prior to J&J, he served in a variety of scientific management roles at Mediventures Inc., R.P Scherer, and Merck Sharp & Dohme Research Laboratories. Dr. Wilkinson also held teaching roles in pharmacy and pharmaceutics at the Auburn University School of Pharmacy, and the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut, as well as a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan.
