Ferentino and Monza, Italy
Patheon offers state-of-the-art lyophilization manufacturing capacity at its facilities in Ferentino and Monza, Italy. With 10 cGMP lyophilization units ranging in size from 75 ft² (7 m²) to 452 ft² (42 m²), Patheon brings a total of 3,150 ft² (292m²) of modern lyophilization capacity to customer projects. Both the Ferentino and Monza sites are able to aseptically fill small volume parenterals (SVP) in their recently upgraded sterile areas.  Ferentino Operations also offers a dedicated sterile suite for the filling of large volume parenterals (LVP) into glass bottles. Swindon, U.K.
The Swindon site offers full commercial manufacturing and packaging capabilities for sterile liquids, nasal sprays, emulsions, ophthalmic creams and ointments.  The facility can commercially produce sterile products in a range of dosage forms including vials, ampoules and eye drops. Our modern vial filling lines are equipped with integrated washers and depyrogenating tunnels resulting in efficient production cycles.

The grounds of the Swindon site also house a segregated sterile powdered cephalosporin manufacturing facility and a newly constructed lyophilized cephalosporin manufacturing facility able to meet you sterile cephalosporin product needs.
