PDS USA operates a full GMP pilot scale production facility within the Cincinnati Operations site, designed for late phase, scale-up, validation batch manufacture and tech transfer of clients’ projects. The pilot plant is an extension of our dedicated development laboratory areas for non-GMP formulation work. The pilot plant is equipped with a full range of equipment that is scalable with commercial operations.

Pilot scale processing equipment options include:

• Blending
• Milling and spheronization
• Fluid bed drying / granulation / coating with Wurster insert and explosion-proof capabilities
• High shear granulation
• Tablet compression, coating and printing, including bi-layer press
• Liquid-Filled Hard Capsules filler / bander
