PDS Cincinnati USA is located at Patheon’s Cincinnati Operations in Ohio. Dedicated exclusively to our customers’ development projects, PDS Cincinnati’s facility is equipped with modern analytical and formulation development laboratories, including clinical and pilot scale manufacturing equipment for solid and liquid dosage forms.

PDS Cincinnati offers development services from pre-clinical through to registration batches which are integrated with the site’s commercial manufacturing. The site offers Quick to Clinic™ accelerated early phase development programs. Development activities are supported with modern analytical services at each stage, as well as the capacity to accommodate large stability programs under various ICH and photo stability conditions.

PDS scientists in Cincinnati are knowledgeable and skilled in the application of advanced technologies for the development of our customers’ projects. Our scientists use customized approaches to successfully apply controlled release technologies for customers interested in investigating alternative formulations for their products, such as pelletization, coatings, and matrix applications.

PDS Cincinnati is also focused on Liquid-Filled Hard Capsules (LFHC) services, and our scientists work with our clients to apply this innovative technology to suitable development candidates. Liquid-Filled Hard Capsules are ideal for solving today’s complex formulation challenges, associated with low-solubility, high-potency, and unstable molecules.
