Navigating cold chain complexity with innovative solutions

Webinar On Demand

In today's rapidly evolving biotechnology and pharmaceutical landscape, the demand for robust cold chain logistics has reached unprecedented heights. The increasing popularity of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) like cell and gene therapies, mRNA vaccines, and other temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals has spurred this growth, necessitating innovative, technology-driven cold chain capabilities for both clinical and commercial products.

Our recent webinar, featuring Susan Li, Sr. Director of Cold Chain Logistics, Cell and Gene Therapy Solutions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, explored this topic, revealing the challenges and opportunities associated with cold and ultra-cold supply chain logistics. It showcased advanced solutions to streamline the storage, packaging, labeling, and distribution of high-value therapies, ensuring their integrity and efficacy from clinical development through to commercial distribution.

Key webinar insights include:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the critical role of cold and ultra-cold chain logistics in the growing biopharmaceutical sector
  • Identify bottlenecks in cold chain logistics for temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, along with strategies to overcome them
  • Discover innovative technologies and integrated capabilities that enhance the efficiency and reliability of cold chain logistics

If you’re a drug developer of temperature-sensitive advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), this is a webinar you don’t want to miss. Explore the advantages of industry-leading cold chain logistics, preserving the safety of your products while transporting them to patients in need.

About the speaker:

Susan Li joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in November 2020 as the director of customer solutions and subject matter expert (SME) for cell and gene therapy. She and her team developed innovative and customized solutions to support clients in conducting global clinical trials and commercial distribution. In May 2023, Susan was promoted to the senior director of client services and solution services, where she works to enhance collaboration across the group to provide best-in-class customer experience and onboarding support.
