- Set technical and scientific strategic direction for formulation and process development of new and existing molecules – both small molecules and biologics – in various dosage forms from early development through lifecycle management
- Support business development and marketing teams by providing scientific support in new business development
- Leverage talents of team and the breadth of technical expertise across Thermo Fisher to solve clients’ unique technical and scientific challenges in bioavailability, scalability, manufacturability, stability and other areas
- Evaluate new technologies to expand the company’s ability to solve clients’ technical and scientific challenges, and improve the probability of success in meeting clients’ end goals

- Joined Patheon, now Thermo Fisher Scientific, in 2000 and has more than twenty-five years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development across multiple disciplines
- Before joining Thermo Fisher, led a team of fifty people as manager of formulation development for Novartis in Bombay, India and Basel, Switzerland
- Member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) and focus groups of AAPS, Pharmaceutical Scientists Group of Canada, and Canadian Pharmaceutical Scientists Association
- Post-Doctoral research fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and part of the Indian Council of Medical Research fellowship
- Four patents filed and/or pending
- Author or co-author of multiple scientific articles and whitepapers, thought leadership contributor to various scientific, trade and peerreviewed journal articles
